everyone else eclipsed
but the lady of the west
her name was Steve
i asked her why she didn't leave

she said : “you need help very much
and i'm not in a rush
you seem lost and lonely
just repeat these words with me”

for a minute i was a long way off
to wake me up she coughed
i was turning red
she handed me a moonstone and said :

“take it, i found it in the West Indies
it is said to have magic properties
it's a love charm by a waxing moon
clear-sighted you'll be on a waning moon”

for a minute i was a long way off
i came to, she took off
i kept the stone
and the truth has been shown

in years i haven't spent a night alone
man, the men i could have tried them all
but i fell in love with Sebastian
