looking out from the beach among the boats
from afar i saw two arms
swing together, then apart

so i took off my boots
and i made my way out to you
from afar you are a wrecking ball
swaying dangerous and drunk and high and tired
but when i got to you, you stood up on the sand bar
spinning circles, laughing, dancing, making waves with your arms

when i think of you it makes me want to cry
and i find myself thinking about you all the time
