Impermanances by gamin

This album emerges from gamin's experimental music theater production, Impermanence, created as the coda to her residency at HERE (2020–2023) in New York. The work bridges tradition and modernity, stillness and motion, sound and visual art. gamin collaborates with percussionist Satoshi Takeishi and violinist Jason Lee, blending their expertise in traditional and experimental music to craft a sound-driven, playful exploration of artistic expression.

gamin is a distinguished soloist who tours the world, performing Korean music and cross-disciplinary collaborations. gamin plays Korean reeds and is a designated Yisuja (designated master), official holder of Important Intangible Cultural Asset. Re-inventing new sonorities from ancient, gamin has collaborated with world-acclaimed musicians presenting at Roulette, Metropolitan Museum,etc.
