Two tunes written by our friend Will Allen, here played as scottishes. Will is a fantastic fiddle and melodeon player, who also takes stunning wildlife photography. ‘Temps Gris’ (Grey Weather) was inspired by a walk on the marshes on the Isle of Sheppey, in which an enormous storm cloud engulfed the sky and completely transformed the atmosphere of the island. The name was suggested by Ayla Bedri. ‘Pigeonhawk’ was written after Will woke up one morning to see the flash of a pigeon being chased up his road by a sparrowhawk at incredible speed. The winner of the race is unknown.
