Martin and I have cooperated with each other time and again since the seventies. So this little Movie 'Auf einem anderen Stern' was not only an exciting project but also a brotherly revival under completely different auspices than in the wild seventies. A movie in which people talk almost all the time doesn't necessarily need music. Or does it? Even more so? We decided to go for it and find that the images, text and music complement each other well. For this album, I added some leadguitar to the almost entirely functional parts in favor of an emotionality that is missing in the mostly synthetic sounds. And although only a fraction of the recorded material was used, and in many places in the film only fragments are featured, these tracks will remain permanently linked to this project for me.

Starting out in the seventies George went on to evolve into a versatile songwriter somewhere between his Celtic roots and “Swinging London” 60’s style. He has released 10 albums so far and works also as a producer. He has published an album with lyrics by the Boston-based Writer Richard Cambridge.
