The debut EP from London producer Glenneth (real name Laurie Carter) manages to conjure a sense of enlightened calm and wonder across its three long-form tracks. Gradually unfurling into billowing arcs of gorgeously melodic meditation, it’s music that gets you blissed-in as well as blissed-out.
A self-confessed fan of early-doors sets, Carter’s own take on dancefloor epiphany leaves main-room angst far behind to conjure hypnotic grooves that are ripe for out-of-body Room 2 excursions. Those nameless moments for surrendering to a freedom that’s uniquely personal, as pure electronic sound unfolds at a steady pace and works into your core.
