Daybreak by Blue Hollow

Blue Hollow wrote a Pop Song!!!
While recording their album "Stealing a Whisper", songwriter Tom Poitras was jamming with studio engineer Geoff Patterson on a song that Tom had written a few years earlier. Geoff sat at the piano and wrote an infectious hook that transformed the song. "Daybreak" had a fresh new sound. The plan was to re-record "Daybreak" and release it as a follow up single to their album "Stealing a Whisper", giving the band time to refine the arrangement. Producer John Brand did a quick mix of the song and the master tape was filed with the album masters. The band broke up the following year leaving this gem to gather dust in the archives.
