Zhur ate her final meal
She entered the den alone in The Arctic
The roof caved in and her fate was sealed

Frozen in time

She was a wolf puppy young and brown
She came from the Ancient Yukon
Perfectly preserved in the collapsed den
The permafrost became her sarcophagus
But science and ice let her tell her story

After fifty-seven thousand years you must be cold
Global warming unlocked her tomb
Some miners found her near Dawson City
She used to howl at the ancient moon
Then was frozen in time, such a pity.
