This is the album of a lifetime. The album I always wanted to make. Music to cry to in your car at night, while driving to nowhere under the streetlights' alternating beams.
The soundtrack that I needed in some of the darkest moments of my life, that I give to you now so you won't be missing it next time YOU need it.
Sadgirl Mixtape is a carefully crafted collection of sad songs that I made during the past 7 years. It was never the right time to release it until it was. It's like it was quietly sitting in a corner of my life until I finally composed the last members of the cast; All I have Is Love, All I Do Is Destroy, You Will Never Be Happy, and Rain On The Car Roof.
Eventually I also made an unplanned cover of one of my favourite songs ever, Les Mots Bleus by Christophe. The drama and soft intensity of this song suddenly fit perfectly with the rest of the album so I decided to include it as a Bandcamp exclusive.
I hope you enjoy my emo offering.
