Exotic Wildlife by Graham Simpson

This is an album of analogue synthesizer experiments and improvisations, almost entirely played by hand. Just two monophonic synthesizers were used; a Roland SH-09, and a Behringer Wasp Deluxe, to create a series of atmospheric and otherworldly explorative tracks. The tracks make frequent use of the 'Sample and Hold' capabilities of both synthesizers, either as a rhythmic device, or as an effect.

Aside from the quantized drum parts and arpeggiator on 'The Man With Lightbulb Eyes', all parts on this album were played by hand without sequencing.
