Grüvious is the instrumental duo of Doug Burdick and Tony Hall. Drawing on voracious interest in musical expression from every continent except perhaps Antarctica, no blending of these influences is off the table. Typically born of improvisations and “experiments” between the composers, the resulting pieces are stylistically fluid, often cinematic and resist rigid classification.
