Well, the Moon shone bright like sister Sun, back in elder days
But he returned marked by war, pocked upon his face
The blue coat lady took pity on him and soon the two were wed
Five or six kids they had sent adrift awandering
Among the stars up in the sky the Moon and Sun, they reside
And gift us with their light, to illuminate the night
