Halb Varas is a music project from J. Clay Riley. Halb Varas means "the poor thief" in Estonian and is meant to convey the ideal that we are all standing on the shoulders of giants in some way at sometime. The project takes inspiration from Classical Minimalist, Experimental Guitar, Ambient Soundscapes, and Drone to attempt to create structured soundscapes and films without images.
