The shaman wakes up, half past six, taste the morning bliss
Others shy up to him, but he’s still in the stillness of the morning dew
Others drift from mountains high
Thirsting for wisdom and guidance
He says why are you here, when you have all the answers you need within
Miles and miles and miles they travel, to drink his voice
To bask in wisdom, this is what he says
They’ll be changes, that will shake you to your core
Be ready, for this old world is no more
He goes out for his morning, tea on the summer dew
He awakens again, he’s feeling something new
He feels a world’s pain
A thousand miles they toil, just to swim in his voice
Why are you here when you have the answers within
You pine for the knowledge that’s inside of you
Longing for you to discover
You yearn for the answers inside of you
Fog rolls in thick here
Billowing robes appear
Whirling out of the mist
What flavor is this?
All he says with a flicker in his eye
And a half-tempted smile
Just look within
(but, what if)
Just look within
(well, how will i know)
Just look within
Over the mountaintops
He flees into the mist
Running, a-running, a-running around
Never to be found.
