Misses Moody’s looking out her window
And no one’s ever seen her with a smile
She stares at every passenger as if he could die

The neighbors all walk faster when she’s outside

Mister Moody never came to save her

That other people seem to have
She hides her love away
It’s just a way to keep her safe from harm
