Noise and poetry may sound like a weird rapprochement to some ; but not for EARTHFLESH. In its new monolithic solo record, Switzerland-based noise artist Bruno Silvestre Favez draws inspiration from the classic Portuguese litterature Nobel prize writer José Saramago (1922-2010). "Declaração" (i.e. "Declaration", in English) is the title of the original poem which served as a ground base to "EMBRACE" and its 58 minutes-long cathartic interpretation. The result is with no doubt one of the most demanding and challenging recordings in the young yet prolific discography of EARTHFLESH ; a deafening and relentless (to say the least) hymn to life, death and eternity.

"EMBRACE", as performed by EARTHFLESH, releases February 8, 2021, in a limited handmade CD edition of 10 copies through the seal of Short Run Industries and HNW Netlabel. Thanks for listening.
