Perverseverence by Cementimental

Cementimental 'Perverseverence' series

3 tracks intended as the first of an indefinite series, recorded in 2007 before HNW was really A Thing!? Intended to be released as minimally-packaged rubber-stamped CD-rs but I never made more than a handful of prototypes.

The vague rules:
- No human intervention while recording
- No editing/layering in post
- No loops or delay or other direct repetition (tho vol. 3 ended up with a kind of mechanical rhythm)
- 72-minute-long tr▲cks
- Largely unchanging (or maybe gradually evolving) sound. Air conditioner aesthetic; ideally you forget you were even listening to it but then hear it’s absence when it ends.

Vols 1 and 2 were created using veteran Cementimental circuitbent instrument the Ghostbox, vol 3 was some contraption involving an amplified slinky spring in a wardrobe being agitated by a walkman capstan.
