Shift is a sound diary composed of tracks recorded from 2018 to early 2020 by Demetrio Cecchitelli, research musician from Italy. A reflection on existential exchanges, before and after the possibility of a permanent state. Suspensive textures collide together to form a multifaceted work, combining electroacoustic languages and ambient music aesthetics. The representation of a imaginary moving sound dives into long drones and stretched reverberated guitars, including digital synthesis and found sounds to argue the musical discourse.
