Dream Deferred by Helen Ganya

I've already spent quite a few weeks in isolation and through the constraints of being forcibly kept inside, I have felt a strange fever dream of a freedom in my mind. I realise the privilege of my position, to be able to still function within a society that constantly falters and leaves so many people out and left behind. This isn't a novel idea as you can tell by the direct inspiration of the song title. I wrote this with a feeling of sadness, guilt but ultimately hope.
