Care by Orthotyp-A

Following on from releases with label favourites Feet Teeth, Brisbane based sound artist and composer Paul Young reprises his collaboration with hellosQuare with Care, the debut for his project Orthotyp-A.

Three years in the making, Young uses field recordings shroud extended vocal sound whilst feedback loops are blurred into digital synthesis, all carefully manipulated with distortion heavy processing techniques to disseminate abstract artefacts across an ever evolving landscape.

Orthotyp-a delivers an intense sound world that is heavy in ambience and with tension at its core, not unlike fellow dark ambient travellers such as Roly Porter, Grouper and Helm.
