dusk by moving paths

Over the past four years, the Sydney based Moving Paths have developed a distinctive ensemble sound that evokes the "chamber jazz" sound of ECM whilst exploring a more intricate sound world, similar to their contemporaries in Sydney's well known NowNow scene.

Recorded and mixed with label boss Shoeb Ahmad at Canberra's Drill Hall Gallery, this debut release weaves elements of jazz-styled composition and free improvisation together with a minimalist aesthetic, showcasing a group in the exciting, embryonic stages of their recording career.
