I can't say that I believe
what the snake oil men are telling me
where do they invent the nerve
to bake the claim that they're selling me new fire?

I don't like these magic tricks
I see through them, it makes me sick
low cost usually means low care
for whatever you're hiding upstairs
stealing other people's art
and jamming it into your culture heart
you're a cheater, you're a liar
I will never bow to your new fire

I don't like this death
of pushing others to push themselves to express themselves more honestly
I won't hold my breath
but if the power plants are built for this, I'll have to anyway
new fire
