City from Vandalism by Hém-Ish
Vandalism is made from phonographs recorded in the city, in the forest, in the day, in the night, in a group or alone during the “Urban Transhumances” happenings with Lab//SEM and during Mathilde's experience with me in the forest. Contrary to popular belief, vandals used to be perpetuators, not destroyers of culture. The world of imagination is at war with the "real" world, the world in which things inevitably get worse. Unreality is the weapon with which reality can be shattered, 'vandalized', so that it can then be reconstructed.
Hi, I'm Hém-Ish : an experimental composer based in Paris where I sleep, dream, laugh, taste, breathe and hear alterity.
My contributions (acousmatic cinema, audio art, phonography, sonic journalism, performance art…) wish to incite intellectual and / or aural ecstasy.
