The band who invented a new genre, changed music forever & carved out a permanent place in rock history. They were among the first bands signed to Richard Branson's Virgin label in 1973, on the recommendation of Soft Machine's Robert Wyatt, who described them as "my favourite band in the world". Their blend of free jazz and experimental rock make them one of the greatest British bands of all time.
