Les Cannibales by Heyvard & Antonella Eye Porcelluzzi

Bonjour Antonella, J’aime beaucoup tes textes et tes films, ils sont magnifiques! j’ai développé un sujet pour notre collaboration, avec le titre « le journal d'une cannibale ». Ce sujet est inspiré par « le journal d’un fou », une nouvelle chinois d’écrivain Lu Xun publié en 1918. Il s'agit du journal d’un fou qui s’imagine un monde plein de cannibalisme. Le cannibalisme est la métaphore du comportement des gens qui se fait du mal aux autres, à cause de la culture chinois traditionnelle et du féodalisme à l’époque.

D’autre part, mes idées pour « le journal d’une cannibale » sont un peu différent. tu es la protagoniste, tu enregistres ton journal à l’oral en cassette. Chaque journée, tu racontes ce qu'il s’est passé dans ta vie quotidienne. Par exemple, la société injuste, la bureaucratie, le capitalisme ou le sexisme que tu ne supportes plus. Some months passed between the composition of the album’s text and the final version in music. The text was written in September 2022 after Heyvard came to me with a proposal - a modern rework in french of “Diary of a Madman”, Lu Xun, 1918. It is a Chinese literature classic which tells the story of a man who sees “Cannibalism” in the society, a text full of meaning, despair and hope. While our rework is an answer to the world we live in nowadays.

I was at the time in a state of psychological panic, due to what I saw would be the consequences of the war. Now, I’m more stable, I know finally that life will show what it has to show, and we will learn, and we will change. I’m not satisfied with my text anymore, I would talk differently now. It’s a photogram in the film.

And most of all I know that I followed a guide, and I understand its wiseness, so the speech has a sense, the sense of the despair in the beginning of a situation, when you think the worse will win. Time passes.

Le fils du chef a appris de ses parents

Il viendra me chercher car je le vois tel qu’il est
Tous ceux que je connais
Le voient comme un hero
Moi je vois ses dents, ses yeux
Il a la peau verte et sa garde du corps est derriere ma porte

Je suis allée faire du shopping, dans un magasin où j’achetais normalement de la bonne nourriture, et j’ai remarqué qu’il a changé de propriétaire,
les prix ont augmenté, beaucoup moins de choix, et quand je suis rentré à la maison et que je voulais mettre la viande dans le congélateur profond j’ai découvert qu’elle avait été décongelée, encore des parties sont congelées
Je n’y retournerai plus jamais
mais combien d’escrocs émergeront maintenant, combien de fraudes
