Paradise Awaits! by hideaway folk family
Paradise Awaits! is the third and final album in a series that corresponds to Dante's Divine Comedy. My life experience corresponding more to the realms of Inferno and Purgatorio, I anticipated some difficulty capturing Paradiso.
So I was happily surprised to find myself making music with more freedom than in a very long time!
The album is now complete! I posted a few songs a day till December 21 in honor of humanity's obsession with it's own end. It seemed to work pretty well last time. And yes, Stray Bullet and Patientcse are the first and second. I was influenced greatly by both Dante and Joseph Campbell, though it is up to you to discover in what ways.
It has unavoidable elements of darkness. For some reason I could not conceive of a future without those beings that plague and beguile us from other realms. World peace continually eluded me. However, I focused on the positives, and was able to capture a certain light that was missing on Stray Bullet and Patientcse.
