Human from Silicon Soul by HOHENHEIM

In the far future, only few purebred humans remain in the labyrinth we call The City. Most descendants adapted to its harsh environment; be it through rampant cybernetic enhancement, bio-engineering or biological adaptation.

Countless aeons of separation between the City's strata - called floors - have caused each layer's population to develop their own physiology and culture. There is, if at all, little left of humanity as we know it; left out there to survive in an unforgiving and hostile megastructure.

Is this the sorry state that humanity's self induced demise has brought forth? Whatever the answer, it is a story of the loss of identity, of body, of mind and of soul. Until all that is left be a mere hollow vessel.
