Dilri Lutti from Asar by Muslim Shaggan
This is a Kafi in the Saraiki language, written by the Sufi poet and mystic, Khwaja Ghulam Fareed (1841-1901). This tune originates in the Rohi desert of South Punjab. For this last track, Muslim explores the peripheries of his vocal range, emulating, in his own way, the characteristic style of the desert singers of that region.
