Jääkautiset by Horseface

Joteskii Groteskii releases Jääkautiset, a C70 tape by Horseface. Jääkautiset is a companion piece to Horseface’s 2017 album Jääkausi and consists of remixes of all the tracks on Jääkausi and five unreleased tracks from the Jääkausi sessions. This includes the infamous cover of MA Numminens song Dägä dägä and a song about the 2010 hot dog eating world championship. Horseface asked some of our favorite artists to each remix one of the tracks of Jääakusi and were amazed by what we got back. There’s everything from mutant club bangers to sound art and eerie collages by Finnish, Portugese and Swedish artists. The cover is designed by Teemu Raudaskoski, Tampere artist and musician, also responsible for the remix of Kentauri.
