This album is dedicated to our beloved mothers.
Jess’s mom, Margaret Ann Heiss.
Michael’s mom, Alicia Mary Fagan.
As well as the mothers who have lost their children to police brutality and/ or incarceration.
We also dedicate this album to Mother Earth, The One Mother and the mother in all of us that teaches us to love and care for all living beings as if they were our own children.
When purchasing this album 50% of your contribution will go to supporting these two very important black-led organizations. The Berkshire County NAACP and Multicultural Bridge, a Berkshire-based grassroots organization working to impact hearts, minds and behaviors to result in positive cultural shifts and systemic changes in policy, law and practice towards a more just, safe and equitable society.
These organizations are huge assets to the Western Massachusetts community. Their leadership in racial justice work is invaluable. Everyone in the area needs to familiarize themselves with these organizations ASAP! Follow them on social media to keep up on their events and other important information.
