Recently, Thomas began asking himself what music was lacking-- what he wanted it to have. There were several answers. One was that it was always the same.
Thomas' favorite recordings were so familiar to him, that he rememebered every tiny shift in background pad sounds. He could hum guitar distortion for many tracks. One track had a fluk-ey resonant sound, and he remembered exactly where.
Thomas wanted music to change. He wanted to hear new and different versions of things.
It was partly for this reason that he created "Generative Soundscape Radio" ( https://www.thomasparksolutions.com/ ).
GSR is set up to create pieces continuously using sessions of source sounds, a set of players, and the computer's random function. Sounds are selected somewhat by chance, and they iterate for a random amount of time, before a new set of sounds is loaded into the players.
Generative Soundscape Radio, therefore, never repeats. It has billions of possibilities, maybe more.
GenLoops Organics is comprised, simply, of recordings of GSR, which have been separated into unique pieces and given fade-in and fade-out effects, as well as optimizing EQ and volume.
