Meditative by Moira Lo Bianco, Integro Sonoro
'Meditative' is a collection of original compositions for piano and sound therapy instruments, and it is inspired by my work in clinical settings and involvement in public health and community-based projects that incorporate the healing and performing arts. The album features forty acoustic instruments, all performed live in the studio. Meditative is designed to accompany mindfulness meditations and healing sessions, making it suitable for anyone looking to unwind.
The music is specifically composed to activate the parasympathetic response, which is responsible for the "rest and digest" state of the nervous system, and it is ideal for patients to take home as a soundtrack to support their healing journey. It also provides assistance to healthcare and holistic providers who require relaxing music and sounds to enhance their treatments.
