Resistance by IQ
Released in 2019 to rave reviews 'Resistance' is IQ's first true double album since 1997's concept album 'Subterranea'. Disc one generally features shorter (for prog) tracks apart from the 14 minute 'For Another Lifetime' described by one reviewer as 'destined to become another much loved IQ classic epic'. Also contains “one of the greatest guitar solos in IQ's catalogue” in 'Shallow Bay'.
Not to be outdone, Disc two contains two(!) 20 minute epics 'The Great Spirit Way' and 'Fallout' dividing critics and fans alike as to which one is the greater.
