Hush now, the world is falling apart. The skies burn as an alien force, known as the Hivemind, descends upon Earth. But they do not come in ships or with armies. They come as a single entity, a sentient being that looks like a bomb, pulsing with an eerie, unstable energy. It is not just a weapon. It is alive. And it speaks in a voice that seeps into the mind, whispering: You’re dead.

As civilization crumbles, one man refuses to kneel, Photon Jack, a courier in this shattered world. He was once just a runner, carrying precious data and supplies through hostile zones, but now, he’s humanity’s last chance. The bomb-being, known as Da Bomb, is spreading its influence through neural networks, hijacking technology, and turning machines, and people, against themselves.

Jack’s mission is clear: deliver a countermeasure to the last resistance stronghold before the Hivemind reaches full saturation. But the journey is treacherous. The skies fall with debris from dying satellites, the digital underworld is haunted by rogue AI, and his own body betrays him as alien spores infect his nervous system.

His only ally is a rogue hacker who speaks in distorted vocoder tones, her identity a mystery. She guides him through forgotten battlefields and abandoned cities where the dead walk in a state of suspended animation.

But as Jack gets closer to his destination, he realizes the truth, the countermeasure he carries isn’t just a weapon. It’s something more. Something that could either save what’s left of Earth… Or erase it.
