Time by Jack Hertz
In September of 2011, I was booked to do a tour of shows and festivals on the East Coast. Sadly, two days before I was to leave I discovered our cat, Boo, had terminal cancer. Unsure how long she would survive, I canceled the tour. Knowing another day was not guaranteed, we cherished every moment we had left. The tracks for this album were recorded during this period. Each piece reflects on the intense despair, and love that I had for one of my closest friends. Boo was such a brave, darling, sweet cat, with a proclivity for mischief that I will always remember.
Think of your loved ones when you listen, and be with them in the now, for me, and for Boo. ❤️
