Otherwise known as the Leslie Spit, Tommy Thompson park is in a state of transformation, from a non toxic urban waste location, turning into a protected series of marshes.
The level of manmade noise pollution is quite high, as the City of Toronto is quite audible in some of these recordings. Boats, booming music and Airplanes all compete with the birds to create an accurate sound picture of this park.
