Kaflia Bay is made up of two concept recordings about social isolation as a defense mechanism. Dreary tone clusters, moods of desolation. Field recordings taken from Zion National Park and Blandford Nature Center (Michigan) in 2018.
Jane Chain is the alias of Michigan-bred Los Angeles-based artist and performer, Anna Schmidt. Live performances have featured a bowl of rusty chains & other found objects as instruments. As a solo artist sometimes branching out into other genres, the Jane Chain recordings mainly fall within both the power electronics and avant-garde realms.
