Many musical paths have brought me to this iteration of composition and performance. CALARTS brought me to Southern California where I have lived for close to 20 years. My influences range from Wayne Shorter to Sonic Youth. These tunes were written for solo performance in an attempt to feature the unique possibilities and limitations of electric guitar. Melody first.
