Jav Rivera has been writing music since the mid-90s and began his recording career when he was hired to compose music for films. He has been described as a modern blend of a 1970s singer/songwriter. Categorized as alternative, there are echoes of dream-pop, progressive rock, folk, and blues. Like fusing Junip with Pink Floyd, Jav combines heartfelt folk with experimental production.
