Trees, like you and me, can be shy - growing in a way that allows for gaps in their canopy. Lest we falsely anthropomorphize, note that hypotheses are that this is an adaptive behavior, born of practical reasons such as reducing wind damage or the spread of leaf-eating insects. But perhaps our shyness is practical too, and while it is more emotive than arboreal, it is nonetheless a kinship we can share.
This track features piano and orchestra including strings, brass, and woodwinds.
