Jardin's Place by jb.arnes

Pulling from the Japanese movement Kankyō Ongaku, and its Western electro-acoustic predecessors, 'Jardin's Place' combines sounds from disparate geographical locations into hybridized, fictional environments. Moments of deep-listening and meditation co-mingle with airy involvement in the listener's space, resulting in a record that is affective to and affected by the natural world.

Much of this album's source material was recorded on a Tascam
DR-4 and iphone5 between 2015-2019 throughout India, Nepal, Thailand, Colorado, New Orleans, New York state, and Pittsburgh.
