Hannah-Carillon c’est le coin de rue d’un quartier populaire où habite Jean Cloutier depuis 35 ans. C'est aussi à cette adresse qu'il a composé les cinq pièces qu'il interprète au saxophone sur son premier EP.
Un jazz à la fois résolument moderne et éloquent, amplifié par la touche avant-gardiste du réalisateur Dominique Saint-Pierre (claviers, programmation) et appuyé en studio par des musiciens chevronnés; Normand Glaude (contrebasse), Michel Delage (batterie) et le togolais Wolanyo Akakpo (congas, percussions).
Une musique bien ancrée dans sa communauté et vibrant aux rythmes du monde.

Hannah-Carillon is a street corner of a working-class neighborhood where Jean Cloutier has been living for the last 35 years. The five pieces of his first EP he performs on the saxophone, have all been composed at this address.
This is a modern and expressive Jazz, amplified by the avant-garde touch of producer Dominique Saint-Pierre (keyboards, programming) and supported by experienced and talented musicians: Normand Glaude (double bass), Michel Delage (drums) and the Togolese Wolanyo Akakpo (congas, percussions).
A music well anchored in his community and vibrating to the rhythms of the world.
