Eremo by Jeff Johnson & John Van Deusen
EREMO, an ambient instrumental collaboration between celebrated recording artists Jeff Johnson and John Van Deusen, takes its name from the Latin and Italian word for refuge and hermitage. The title track is a twenty-nine minute musical journey into an audio sanctuary of ethereal and evocative soundscapes for personal reflection and contemplation. Additionally, seven βstemsβ of the full track are also featured as individual mixes.
JEFF JOHNSON
Jeff Johnsonβs music spans forty-five years of solo and collaborative releases featuring Progressive/Rock, Jazz/New Age, Contemporary Celtic and Contemplative Worship stylizations. He has collaborated with such diverse artists as Irish flutist, Brian Dunning, Jazz bassist, David Friesen, Classical vocalist, Janet Marie Chvatal and guitar virtuoso, Phil Keaggy.
JOHN VAN DEUSEN
A seasoned veteran of the Pacific Northwest indie-rock scene, John Van Deusen has been releasing music since 2004. He has been featured on KEXP, NPR and toured with the likes of Death Cab For Cutie and Portugal. The Man. EREMO represents his first instrumental new age music recording.
