Rosebud by Jeffrey Thiele
To be a rosebud...
At this point in time, this is how I feel – like a rosebud, encountering itself within its own environment, opening up to the energy of the universe.
As such, here is a window into what I believe is my own personal process of budding, of self encounter, of slowly finding my own artistic voice.
This set incorporates my full setup to-date (Moog Matriarch, Moog Subharmonicon, Elektron Digitakt, Sax), capturing my growth as a synthesist, composer, producer, and saxophonist.
Jenn Aguilar is the artist who created this piece of work, titled "Rose". It was originally created as a personal piece for Jenn, that which was born from Jenn's necessity to re-connect with her own self. She used this piece to rediscover and experiment with her personal and artistic style, enjoying what she loves most in life: painting. Jenn believes that this is the best means to embody life, and to share her even just a bit of who she is to those around her.
Jenn's is painting, mine is, I believe, music.
