Southpaw from Southpaw by Jeremy Sawkins

The ideas for this song came to me while travelling in the top section of a rollicking double-decker bus between London and Cornwall back in 1995. All I had to do was transfer those ideas to the guitar and the manuscript paper when I landed on solid ground.

NSW South coast based (ex Sydney) guitarist Jeremy Sawkins has been an active member of the Australian jazz community since the early 1980’s. As well as being a composer/bandleader, Jeremy has shared the stage and recording studios with many notable musicians. Having performed all around Australia, he has also performed in Europe and Asia.
