Jeremy Troy - the 23-year-old Louisiana-born, Århus-based multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer and rapper - is bar none a musical amalgamation. With a distinct sound that’s a crossroad between Afro-American and northern European musical traditions, he effortlessly channels a spiritual, versatile energy while transmitting influences of jazz, soul, psych rock, house and hip hop.

Inspired by the soul and boogie records that he listened to through his childhood, Troy’s debut single ‘Flower’ invites the listener on a musical journey through exploring, finding and accepting one’s own identity.

“It’s a journey about choosing life. I wrote ‘Flower’ during a time of my life where I was really wondering who I was supposed to be,” Jeremy explains. “I tried to express that doubt and emptiness in a positive and hopeful way. I hope that the listener (who might have similar feelings), finds optimism and a sense of curiosity from the song. It’s all good. We are all lost and will all be found.”
