this ambient improvisation using only a synthesizer and a kalimba drenched in delay. the instrumentation of the piece is easily understandable, as well as the analog effects/pedals used to treat the sounds. The musical material openly reveal themselves as so the auditory element is easily retainable.
the importance rather relies on not trying to figure out the piece itself, but to simply live in the moment and the universe of the piece, let one’s thoughts come to surface reality and unveil themselves. the making of this piece involves an attitude of letting go and demands one (the composer as well as the listener) to be in a state of surrendering, by limiting interventions.
frequencies go from high to low, evoking some sort of descent, all in subtlety. a mellow descent, one that has not yet reached the end.
