midwest guilt is a collection of loop-based songs that I made between the fall of 2024 thru early 2025. Much like last year's structures, I'm going for mood and a musical snapshot of the moment. I started making loop-based music back in the early 2000s when I bought Sony Acid Music software. I loved the immediacy of songs just coming together. While not performing the music, I am acting as arranger and composer. I love sitting down and digging through loops and making something unique to me.

Anybody can put together songs this way. It's easy to learn. But I do think you need to have a musical mind and musical ears in order to make something that will bring people back to keep listening.
