the solo album by bass clarinet and soprano saxophonist Joachim Zoepf lives up to the reputation of xplico edition) Günter Christmann, the renowned trombonist and cellist, and his and his partner, the poet and vocalist Elke Schipper. In fact, it is Elke Schipper who signs the excellent liner notes describing the the artist's work. And the latter does not hesitate to roll up his sleeves by assisting them in the production of the explico editions Cd'r. An uncompromising improviser influenced by the experience of free-jazz experience and contemporary music research, Joachim Zoepf has long been active on the Cologne scene (Paul Hubweber, Georg Wissel, Karl Ludwig Hübsch, etc.) and played in a duo with the percussionist with percussionist Wolgang Schliemann and in the quartet Quatuohr with Marc Charig, Hannes Schneider and again Schliemann: Zweieiige Zwillinge by Schliemann- Zoepf and KJU: by Quatuohr have been warmly recommended by yours truly.

also contains many other gems with the above mentioned artists. This
suite of fourteen solo pieces op. 126 & op. 127" composed and
