Littoral by JO B

This piece was inspired by an enduring memory. On a boat bound for Ireland, the Dorset coastline in England appears in the distance. An insane wall of white and verticality rises up, immense and spectacular, in front of us. My excitement grows the closer we get. Time expands. This coastline tells the story of 185 million years of Earth's history. My piece Littoral is an evocation of this memory, which has remained so intensely present in me ever since.
